non-GMO Probiotics

The Sirius effect:

The future is alive…literally. Probiotics are more than a trendy addition to yoghurt.  These living cultures can change the way we clean. Read on to find out how they enhance cleaning, and about Sirius’s latest addition to our product line.

"our latest innovation: BritePro Bioactive 100%organic, 100%biodegradable and 0%GMO "

In the 1900s, when people imagined the future, they imagined clean, sparkling utopias. Devices like dishwashers and laundry machines were as much a sign of the future as they were a status symbol for wealth and leisure. Of course, we know now that more devices do not mean more leisure time (and some studies, remarkably enough, suggest the exact opposite).  But maybe probiotics can help us win a little of our time back on cleaning in general.

Essentially, they are dirt eating bacteria, that can help you clean your house. This is because, probiotics are living cultures, and as such, will actively go and find “food” (lipids, proteins, cellulose, to name just a few of the possibilities).  They’ll seek out and consume every last molecule of their favorite food long after the visible remnants are gone, going deep into the microscopic nooks and crannies to find their next meal.

With conventional chemical cleaners, once the cleaning agents have been washed away, that’s it.  Cleaning power is mostly a matter of stoichiometry.

But probiotics will continue to multiply as long as their food supplies last, and that means that they’ll keep cleaning long after the scrubbing has stopped.

Together, this means that probiotics, when properly used, can provide a deeper, more thorough cleaning than ordinary chemical cleaners. Inside the fibers and/or cracks, the bacteria are quietly destroying dirt molecules, eventually creating a space that effectively cleans itself.  Additionally, the microbial environment that is created by applying them can inhibit the growth of problematic, pathogenic bacteria.

Despite the fact that these are bacteria, public opinion is generally favorable to probiotics.  In addition to the fact that it is a genuinely natural product, products that use probiotics are also cleaner, less-toxic, and safer. So it could be said that cleaners with probiotics are even greener than products made with Sirius’s bio-based, sustainably produced, biodegradable products.

Sirius has partnered with a bioengineering firm to bring you BritePro Bioactive, a combination of 5 strains of Bacillus that enhance the actions of cleaning agents.  The bacteria work to dissolve lipids, proteins, cellulose, and starches, as a detergent would.  BritePro comes in two formulations: a powder that can be mixed into liquids, or in a pre-moistened gel formulation.  Additionally, you can request the addition of herbal extracts to enhance their activity (and they smell nice, too). Although BritePro’s formulation is predefined, it is possible to develop customized mixes for specific tasks.  All you have to do is ask.

Working with nature almost always gives better results than trying to fight it.  We learn this lesson over and over again, whether it’s with water management, or pet ownership, or dieting, and now, cleaning .Want to find out how BritePro Bioactive can enhance your brand?
