Britebleach TAED is the activator of the bleach sodium percarbonate (Britebleach SPC). By itself, Britebleach SPC will only start to release active oxygen at a temperature above 60 oC. Britebleach TAED reduces that working temperature to 40 oC, the ambient temperature for washing and paper bleaching. Britebleach TAED can be supplied in different colors (blue, green and red). The percentage of Britebleach TAED in white washing powder is such that when colored Britebleach TAED is used, a clear speck is created.

Britebleach TAED is supplied as free-flowing granules. The particle size can be adjusted to customer requirements to avoid segregation and separation in the final product. The classic colors are white, blue, green and red, but the more creative colors can be supplied in minimum order sizes; yellow, orange, purple and pink.

The Sirius Effect: Sirius International can provide you with raw materials approved by the biocides legislation, which will give you the freedom to say that your product is hygienic. For instance, Britebleach TAED (tetra acetyl ethylene diamine) and SPC (sodium peroxy carbonate). As the advertising industry becomes more and more creative in convincing people to buy certain products, the regulations trying to protect the health and safety of the consumer get tighter and tighter. For example, if you want to use the word “hygiene” on the label of your cleaning product, you have to support this claim by registering and including relevant ingredients.
