Britebleach SPC Interested?

Category:

bleaching agents / Percarbonate

CAS / EINECS:

CAS no.:15630-89-4

EINECS no.. :239-707-6

Specialist:

Information:

Sodium percarbonate is a compound of sodium carbonate (soda) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in solid form. Like the gaseous hydrogen peroxide used as an aqueous solution in cleaning, SPC in water actively releases oxygen. This oxygen bleaches stains. SPC is the main constituent of stain powders and to a lesser extent of money laundering powders and detergent tablets. It is also available in tablet form (both 100% SPC and solid mixes) as a convenient dosage of pure or concentrated SPC, for example when cleaning plastic packaging material for reuse.

Innovation:

Sirius and her co-producer have succeeded in producing Britebleach SPC in a dry process; as a result, our particles are smooth and round and the coatings are the same thickness everywhere. As a result, the coatings remain undamaged and no SPC and oxygen are released before they are applied. This is especially important when low wear is important, for example when pressing (washing up) tablets; under pressure, coatings are more susceptible to damage.

Furthermore, Britebleach SPC can be supplied in bulk, because Sirius works with a ADR 5.1/IMO 5.1 certified warehouse and filling station.

Biocide registered
Britebleach SPC Britebleach and TAED are ECHA/BPR approved for use as a biocide in the European Economic Area and in Switzerland (greater than the EU).

Biocide applications: human hygiene, animal hygiene, disinfection, food and feed, drinking water, preservation, slime control.

The annex (page 3) to the Assessment Report ECHA/BPC/124 on 'Peracetic acid generated from TAED and SPC' states that the production of Britebleach SPC and Britebleach TAED are in accordance with the reference specifications.

Synonyms: sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate; sodium carbonate peroxide, Na2CO3.3H2O2

Technical:

All Britebleach SPC particles are coated with a water-soluble layer. This makes the product stable in dry form. The coating dissolves and the active oxygen is released only in contact with water.

Our particles are smooth and round. The coatings are equally thick everywhere. It is important that the coatings remain undamaged and do not release SPC and oxygen before application. SPC is available with different coatings:

- almost perfectly spherical particles resulting in evenly distributed coating that is equally everywhere is thick; especially applicable when low wear is important, for example when pressing (dishes) tablets; under pressure, coatings are more susceptible to damage (active oxygen content at least 13.0%)

- crystalline particles with standard coating at a lower cost (active oxygen content always minimum 13.0%)

- spherical particles with extra thick coating (active oxygen content at least 13.0%)

Commercial:

Packaging: 25kg bags, 500-1000-1100kg bigbags, in silo truck (bulk)

Anybody with a passing understanding of Greek and Latin should be horrified that there are substances such as biocides. Biocides, after all, means “things that kill life” – things that could kill “us”.  Fortunately, as a functional term, biocides more frequently refer to antimicrobial agents, though they also include things like insecticides, repellants, and poisons for rats and the like.

European Biocides Legislation

What does a sparkling room with gleaming floors and nearly-invisible windows have in common with the inside of your mouth? The presence of biofilm: invisible aggregates of bacteria, encapsulated in an extracellular matrix that can be extremely difficult to penetrate, growing on almost every surface. Depending on the species of bacteria, this extracellular matrix can resist undiluted chlorine bleach and other disinfectants. And while it is most likely to be present in damp areas, biofilms can be found on dry surfaces, as well.
