Information:

Britase PAL Mix and Britase PALMC Mix are liquid enzyme blends specially developed to increase the effectiveness of laundry detergents at low temperatures.

Britase PAL Mix contains the following enzyme types: protease, amylase and lipase.

Britase PALMC Mix contains the following enzyme types: protease, amylase, lipase, mannanase and cellulase

Enzymes improve performance on a wide variety of organic stains, especially those related to the substrate relevant to each individual enzyme. Since everyday stains in our daily life often consist of different components (read: substrates), the use of a complex enzyme system will have a synergistic effect on those stains.

Proteases hydrolyze smaller molecule proteins such as amino acids and polypeptides. Proteins are found in grass, blood, egg (yellow), gravy and perspiration.

Amylases break down both the amylose and the amylopectins that make up starch. Amylopectins are not soluble in water and are therefore difficult to remove from an adhered surface such as textile fabrics. They act like a glue. Starches are one of the main components of our food. Examples are corn, potatoes, grains and rice. These starches and modified starches are used in foods such as gravies, baby food, porridge, pasta, puddings and sauces.

Lipases break down the triglycerides in edible oils and fats found in high-fat foods and many cosmetic products. The triglycerides are broken down into fatty acids, diglycerides and monoglycerides, which are more soluble in the wash water and can therefore be removed more efficiently from textiles. Lipases are particularly troublesome to cotton fabrics because they tend to travel to the inner cavities of the cotton via capillary action. Surfactants cannot remove them.

Mannanases degrade galactomannans, or mannans for short, are polysaccharides widely used in the food and personal care industries . Well-known galactomannans are Guar gum and St. John's bread, which are used as thickeners in food, personal care and cosmetics.

The Mannans are colorless by nature; they create visible and invisible tribes. Mannans act like glue for other strains and thus contribute to overall graying and matening of tissues.

Cellulas prevent lint and pilling on cotton fabrics. Fluff and pills formation is. The biggest consumer complaint when it comes to maintaining their new garments. Fluff and pills give clothes a worn-out appearance, the colors appear less bright and the fluff and pills can trap and retain solid dirt particles that

give light-colored articles a gray cast.

Cellulas contribute to color retention through anti-graying / anti-redisposition effects on textiles. Cellulases can also have a cleaning effect on some fibrous stains. (beta-glucans) as found in (breakfast) cereals and oatmeal foods.

Innovation:

Britase PALMC mix does not contain GMO products and itself is Non-GMO. The organisms producing Britase PALMC mix are selected from nature and bred by selecting the strongest strains.

Shipping is a precarious business in the best of times. Last year was decidedly not the best of times. While the world is emerging from the setbacks caused by COVID, the effects of the pandemic are still being felt in the shipping world. So far this year, between events both critical and structural, 2021 is looking to be another chaotic year for transport.
